American singer, songwriter, actor, and record producer Smokey Robinson was a former record executive. He is the man behind multiple hit records and has worked with some of the biggest names in music. The singer has a net worth of $100 million and is also given credit for developing and popularizing the Motown sound. Robinson grew up in a poor family in northern Detroit and was passionate about music since he was a child. He listened to music from various artists on the radio.
